Facebook Lite

Facebook Lite is a client for the social network Facebook that was specially designed to offer a more fluid experience on old devices and on low speed networks. Recently launched in Brazil, the app is entirely in Portuguese and can be downloaded without any restrictions.

On the Facebook Lite home screen, you will find the traditional news feed with your friends' latest posts. At the top of the screen, shortcuts to other network features are available: “Friend requests”, “Inbox” and “Notifications”.

By tapping the options button in the upper right corner, you can also find other features, such as chat, the photo manager and the friend finder. All Facebook Lite features operate directly on the app and do not require the installation of external applications.

In addition to working well on older devices, Facebook Lite should also better serve people who do not have 3G or 4G coverage, as the program has been completely optimized to work on low-speed EDGE (2G) networks.
